This holiday season, there’s a number of festivities in the US. Here are the top 3 cultural festivals to enjoy in December.The first cultural festival is in Portland Oregon. The popular event celebrates First Nations culture and celebrates the Native American people who inhabited the land in the US. The event has a huge focus on creating a better understanding between the community and those who are native to the area. The celebration begins on December 3, 2017, and ends December 10, 2017. There are so many things to enjoy during this festival that span from music, dance, and the community spirit. Winterland at the Travis County Expo Center includes eight holiday-themed light shows, ice carving, live entertainment, a grand tree-lighting ceremony, fireworks, food and vendors.
The Winterland Holiday Parade, in downtown Austin, is one of the largest holiday parades in Texas. The event includes nearly 100 entries, and draws crowds of more than 200,000. The route begins in the East Austin Arts District on MLK Jr.

Pacific Northwest Ballet’s “Carousel”
Glorious music from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s timeless classic will take the stage, along with costumes and choreography that pay homage to the 1939 production. Performances at McCaw Hall in Seattle. Dec 10th – 23rd.
