Covid-19 is one of the dangerous diseases that starts spread in Wuhan, China in December 2019. Coronavirus causes millions of death and crores are infected all around the world including India. About Coronavirus Vaccine
This vaccine helps in promote antibodies or improve immunity power in our body to fight coronavirus. If our body is attacked by viruses then antibodies are ready to destroy them. Now, there are more than 50 Covid-19 vaccines in trials to prevent the spread of this dangerous disease.
World Health Organization (WHO) is working in collaboration with researchers in making the vaccines against Covid-19. WHO will approve those vaccines that are safe and effective against coronavirus with few side-effects.
Covid-19 Vaccine Safe in India
At present, the effect of coronavirus is continuously decreasing in our country in the year 2021. Indian also introduce vaccines and organize a program for providing vaccines to health workers including doctors that are busy in fighting Covid-19 on January 16, 2021. In this treatment, two doses are compulsory for the treatment of Covid-19 with a gap of 28 days. Thus, there is another program to provide a second dose may be February 14, 2021. As per the Government, these vaccines are safe that helps in producing antibodies to fight Covid-19.
Till now there are two coronavirus vaccines that are preventing the spread of Covid-19 all over the world.
- COVAXIN – Bharat Biotech has introduced the coronavirus vaccines that namely known as Covaxin, which is developed in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) as a National Institute of Virology (NIV) that helps in preventing or reducing the number of Covid-19 in our country. Bharat Biotech is a biotechnology company that is popular for its world R&D with manufacturing capabilities. This vaccine is made and developed by Bharat Biotech’s BSL-3 with high containment facility. When the trials of these vaccines are successful than from the phase 1 and 2 clinical trials of COVAXIN, this company received DCGI that approval for phase 3 clinical trials in 26,000 participants in several centers in India.
- Covishield – There is another coronavirus vaccine which is made by the University of Oxford and British Swedish company AstraZeneca in collaboration with Serum Institute of India (SIL). Indian drug regulator has approved this vaccine on January 3, 2021. This vaccine would be available at a cost of Rs 200 per dose as per the report. Indian Government also signed a purchase order of 11 million doses with Serum Institute of India as per sources.

There is good news for Indian people that vaccines are developed to prevent the spread of coronavirus. So, we should take vaccines and helps to Government in preventing and permanently treatment of coronavirus in our country. As per experts, these vaccines are safe to use and two-dose must be taken with a gap of 28 days.
