Black Friday marketing has essentially become a battle to capture the attention of your target market while getting the best deals or the lowest prices. Now, while this is the nature of most Black Friday marketing, I’d encourage you to try something a little different. I’m not a big fan of discounts because I’m a big fan of thinking about the profit margins in your business. Remember that while we’re talking about it, in the e-commerce or retail world, our potential customers are already thinking about who offers them the best deals. They are looking for offers. So the question that arises when you’re heading into the holidays with your marketing is how can you offer the best deals possible without giving away too many discounts.
Create a Black Friday Package
One way to do a better job is to aggregate the products or services you sell. When you collect and create new packages, you present opportunities for potential customers to spend more with you during the holidays, but still, have the satisfaction of having a great day. So how do you put together your products and services? like this
Get two for one on Black Friday
Another similar example to use when thinking about selling during the holidays is how I can save larger amounts of the same stuff for a little more than if the potential customer only buys one item. An example of this could be offering two to buy one product or buy two and get the third for free. This gives you the same result of competing with your offers and still making more profits than if you were just offering a discount.
May with reward
Another way to offer a lot to your customers and continue to increase your profits beyond just lowering prices across the board is to offer a discount on a set number of items after you make a certain level of purchase. You can do this by letting everyone know as they walk through your door or visit your website that when they buy a certain amount of dollars, they get something for free or at a discount. The best way to approach this is to think of everything your customer could desire across the board and give it as a reward.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve tried any or all of these Black Friday marketing ideas, I really want to encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and do something different. Do something none of your competitors are doing. Do something smarter and more profitable. Remember that the more profits you can make from the market, the more value your business can bring to the world.
How to shop on Black Friday
The term Black Friday was coined by the Philadelphia Police Department in 1966. It was a day when the streets of the city center were jammed with traffic and people were trying to get cheap deals and discounts for Christmas. However, the term wasn’t recognized until 1975 when two Philadelphia newspapers highlighted it. This day is also called Buy Nothing Day as many people avoid going to the shops due to the rush and chaos. There are also some people who prefer window shopping rather than buying something on this particular day.
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving when retail stores offer deep discounts and great deals on items and merchandise. It’s often the busiest shopping day of the year, and retailers have beaten losses from previous months on this single day. Today, in the United States, retailers have realized the importance of Black Friday and are offering huge discounts to attract the largest number of customers. There is a lot of competition among retailers to get customers. People use this day to finish their Christmas shopping, but they also end up buying a lot of things that aren’t discounted. So, if you don’t want to go over your shopping budget, you need to know how to shop on Black Friday.
Before you go shopping, it is important to make a shopping list. This will ensure that you only spend money on items on your list. Also, you have to be a little aggressive to make your way through the crowd of people who are also there to get the best deals and discounts.
Browse all the sales papers you can get your hands on so you know where to find the items on your list. If you are shopping in a store, it can be helpful to create a rough map to make it easier for you to move around the store. This will give you an edge over other buyers.
Generally, people arrive at the place of purchase before the sale begins. So, if you want to avoid long lines and avoid items being out of stock, it’s imperative to get to the venue early. While there may still be a queue outside the store, it won’t take long.
While you’re in the shop, keep checking your listing. If one store seems too busy, go to a less crowded one and buy something else on your list. This way you will save time and energy. You can always go back to the first shop later.
If you don’t like crowds and hate pushing and shoving, buy Cyber Monday, a Black Friday extension for online shoppers.
