- Use third-party applications:

You can choose any Instagram video downloading app. Now to download any video using Insta Zoom, simply open Instagram and play your video, now tap on the three dots on the video and select ‘copy link’ option. Paste this link in the field provided on the Instagram video downloading app and press ‘ok’. The video starts playing on the app, simply tap on the download button over the video to save it to your gallery.
- Screen recording:
The most convenient way to save any video to your gallery is screen recording it while watching the video. Smartphones today come with the feature of screen recording. Simply turn on the screen recorder from your settings or tools panel by sliding down on the screen. Now play the video that you wish to download. Screen recorder will instantly record the video and save it to your gallery. Certain screen recorders do not support voice recording which is an issue with this method. However you can turn on record audio under the screen recorder option in settings.
- Save in Instagram:
Another method to save videos to your phone is the save option in Instagram. Though you cannot save any video to your gallery using Instagram, you can always save it in the app itself. If you wish to save any video to watch later, simply tap on the ‘save’ button in the form of ribbon in the bottom right corner of your post or tap the three dots over posts and reels and select save option. - Use source code to download videos:
This method is a bit technical but is a great hack to save any video you wish to. Simply open Instagram on any browser and play the video you wish to download. Now right click on the video and select the ‘inspect element’ option from the menu. It would open the code to your video. Press ctrl+F, to open the find option and in the box type .mp4. it will take you to the link of this video. Copy this entire line of code starting from ‘src=’ till ‘.mp4’ and paste it in a new window. The video will start playing, now tap on the download option to download and save the video.
