Maintenance of Wife in Pakistan After the Iddah Period:
If the husband is not paying maintenance of wife in Pakistan expenses during the waiting period, the woman must claim them while still in her waiting period. Maintenance expenses not claimed till after the waiting period is over cannot be recovered later and are deemed to have lapsed, except in cases where the court has fixed such expenses at the time of divorce.
