ADJUST AIR FLOW

UNPLUG THE DRAIN
You will also want to unplug and drain the air compressor. During this process, you will need to release the drain valve. Once releasing the drain valve, it will begin to depressurize the air compressor which will allow you to begin making any necessary repairs.
DISCONNECT AND REPLACE PART
The last step in repairing an air compressor is to disconnect it and replace the part. You will need to make sure that the compressor is safely turned off and depressurized. Once this step is completed, you will then need to remove the old valve and disconnect the wiring. It will then be time to install the new unloader valve and make sure that it is secured in tightly in place. You will then need to test the new unloader valve by turning the compressor on again.
