Chicago Indie Spirits Expo
Chicago Indie Spirits Expo is a one-day tasting event held every fall in Chicago, Illinois.
The fest began in 2007 and has grown every year.
The indie spirits of Chicago are defined as liquors produced in the Midwest by small producers, typically family businesses.
These spirits are created using traditional techniques and are not mass-produced.
Section 2: Laughter & Mixed Spirits
The Laughery is Chicago Indie Spirits’ new open-air bar located in West Town.
Created by Kari Pollack and CJ St. Martin of The Punch Bowl Social, the Laughery is a fun, laid-back, casual environment where visitors can get pints from local craft breweries on draft, or take a step back in time by getting a classic cocktail in hand.
The History of Indie Spirits Expo
This edition of Indie Spirits Expo Chicago marks the 6th year of this highly anticipated event.
The very first Indie Spirits Expo took place in the Chicago suburb of St. Charles. The second edition of this biannual festival took place in Columbus, Ohio, where a local nonprofit was the driving force. The concept for the Indie Spirits Expo was then launched and the festival has now become a major fixture in the Midwest.

Tasting tickets are $40 in advance. The price goes up to $50 on the day of the event.
