Many brewers make wheat beers, but no one can do it better than Bavarians. This unique aroma and aroma derived from special yeasts used to ferment a mixture of malting barley and wheat.
The Weihenstephaner has made this amazing thing almost longer than anyone else, and their Hefeweissbier is one of the best examples of German wheat beer.
Oktoberfest: “Spata” “Oktoberfest”
1872 The Spaten Brewery invented this sweet, brown style in Munich, Germany. Oktoberfest or Marzen is traditionally produced in March and served in the fall, just in time for the Oktoberfest annual festival.
Spaten’s Oktoberfest is only available from August to October or November. Paulaner also provides the great Oktoberfest, which is available year-round. Many breweries around the world follow this style, and many of them are also available year-round.
“Classic Bock”: Einbecker “Ur-Bock”
Bock is a special style of German beer style. This first block of the list is a very traditional example and the one that claims to be the “first” block.
The books are known for their dark property style, and Einbecker is where the block was created. The Einbecker brewery named it after the German town of Einbeck, where it continues to produce Bock, and Ur-Bock is widely recognized as one of the best examples of this style.
Doppel Bock: Paulaner Salvator Doppel Bock
Doppelbock is darker and richer than books, and Paulaner’s Salvator is a perfect example of this style. All pears are lagers, so despite the great flavors, they are still crispy and clean with a little sweetness.
How hard is doppelbok? Paulaner Salvator Doppel Bock is the oil of legendary beer, and history shows that the monks were able to quickly extend as they drank.
Helles or Maibock: Ayinger Bräu-Hell
Ayeer Bräu-Hell is classified as Helles lager, equal to the gap between Mai Bock and pilsner light spinner style. Eventually, it was originally created as Bavaria’s response to Pilsner.
Despite its pale color, it still tastes quite ground, but it’s usually hoppier than other books. This classic beer is a contrast in itself and a great example of Helles style.
Kölsch: Goose Island Summertime
Kölsch is an unusual beer because it is made with brewer’s yeast, but it is aging like a lager. He is pale and refreshing and moderately jumping. Purists are strangled to see that the choice for the Kölsch record is actually made in Chicago.

Rauchbier: Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier
Rauchbier or “beer smoke” is a very unusual style. The beer itself is the same as Oktoberfest with sweet and salad flavors, but the smoke flavor adds a completely unexpected profile. Some drinkers describe the taste as beef pus or even skin.
Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier is worth tracing if you’ve never tried it before.
Berliner Weisse: Berliner Kindl Weisse
Berliner Weisse is another very unusual beer. The aroma and character come from deliberately fermented grains that make cakes and spicy beers.
