Cashless Facility with Religare Health Insurance Plans
In a cashless claim, the network hospital, where you’re admitted, intimates Care Health Insurance regarding the hospitalization and submits a duly filled pre-authorization request on your behalf. On successful authorization, the claim amount is directly settled with the network provider. And the good thing is that you don’t need to pay any charges except for those that are not covered under Religare Health Insurance policy.
Follow the below instructions for a smooth cashless claim experience –
- Notify the insurer about the admission at the network hospital within 24 hours of emergency admission and 48 hours before a planned hospitalization.
- Collect the authorization form from the TPA desk of the hospital or download it using the Religare Health Insurance App.
- Fill the form and submit it to the hospital
- The hospital will send your duly filled authorization form to the insurer through fax or email
- And after reviewing the request, the insurer will send an authorization letter to the hospital for cashless treatment
- On your discharge from the hospital, the company will pay the bills
Reimbursement of Medical Expenses Using Care Health Insurance Plan
If due to any reason your cashless claim gets rejected, seek reimbursement by following the steps shown below:
- First, intimate the insurer about the hospitalization

- Upon a successful claim, you’ll receive an approval letter from the insurer
List of Documents That You Might Need While Filing a Reimbursement Claim
You need to submit the original documents to the insurer for a speedy claim disbursal, such as –
Indoor Case Papers – These documents are prepared by the hospital on the diurnal base where diurnal croaker notes, nursing notes, patient progress details and patient condition summary from the date of admission till discharge are maintained.
Discharge Summary -This is the summary of the hospitalization period, such as – admission date, discharge date, opinion, line of treatment given to the patient and further advice on discharge.
Payment Bills – Payments regarding hospital bills, disquisition reports or any other procedure.
Consultation Papers – It should be written by the attending medical practitioner with whom your case has been consulted.

Using the Care Health – Customer App, you can file a claim without any hassle. Just download the app from Apple or Play Store on your smartphone and follow these steps –
- Log in to your account using username and password
- Enter your policy number
- Check Religare Health Insurance Policy Details

- Click on the ‘Claim Process’ button
- Enter the details and upload the documents soft copy
