Tool, the most popular progressive rock band has revealed their 2022 tour dates. Incidentally, the band was scheduled to fix their tour dates in 2020. But, the attack of the pandemic led the band to change their plans.
Tool plans to cover 30 venues
Tool has now announced their detailed tour plans and they are slated to cover 30 venues in total, so you can catch them when you are looking for bands playing near me tonight. They will start touring from Oregon and Eugene by 10th January 2022. The band will then travel to Washington DC and Boise followed by other places such as San Diego, San Francisco, and California.
They also have plans to visit Tulsa, Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas. They will halt in Texas and then move to San Antonio and Houston. The month of March next year is also hectic for them as they will be touring Cleveland and Ohio. The band then plans to head to Europe on 24th May and start their performance in Budapest, Hungary. The tour dates begin from 10th January and will end in May 2022.
Tool took to their official Insta account and announced their return after a long hiatus. They used the photo-sharing app to share the news of their tour in 2021-22 with an attractive slogan. Return after 18 months
The news of their upcoming tour made headlines in the media some months after their frontman Maynard James was diagnosed with COVID-19. However, he recovered from the virus, and the band took to social media to declare the tour making their fans go crazy with joy.
Danny Carey, the band’s main drummer mentioned in their official Instagram account that certain “major things” go viral very fast. He added that it gave him great pleasure to declare their comeback after a gap of about 18 months, and now fans can find metal concerts featuring their top band Tool.
He mentioned that it was a trying period for all of them, but they also learned some “great lessons”. The drummer added that they are eager to share those incidents with their followers.
As the tour dates are now out, the tickets for these shows will come up for sale from Friday, 1st October.
As there is a difference in the time zones of Ireland and the United Kingdom, there could be some disparity between the timings of these ticket sales. Additionally, Tool has declared 36 presale windows for VIP and exclusive packages.

It has been a long wait for 13 years but the new album of Tool titled “Fear Inoculum” has finally been released. Its opening track with the same name starts with electronic bubbling and discordant sounds. Some other tracks in the album include Pneuma, Litanie contre La Peur, Invincible, and Descending. The new album has 10 tracks in total.
