Suites. A suite is an establishment that offers paid accommodations on a temporary basis, usually for a few days or weeks. Many of these accommodations are more modern in design than the typical guesthouse. Suites typically provide larger spaces than regular rooms, including separate living and sleeping areas. Luxury Hotels. The luxury hotel industry is one of the most competitive sectors of the hotel industry, in terms of both revenue and customer satisfaction. The majority of high-end hotels are, in addition, often considered to be “specialty” properties, meaning they are only meant for a select group of people or for specific occasions. In many cases, the luxury hotel industry caters to those who can afford it, meaning that you may not have the type of disposable income that is needed in order to stay in a regular hotel, no matter how luxurious it is.
Boutique Hotels. Just as the name implies, boutique hotels are typically established establishments that are frequented by travelers who tend to be on the cutting-edge of fashion trends. They offer stylish, up-to-date accommodations for those who tend to be a bit more on the reserved end of things. They are generally located within resort communities or along main roadways, to ensure easy access to everything that travelers might need while they are in town. The majority of boutique hotels are located along these same locations, which helps to ensure that travelers can get the very best experience possible.
Studio Hotels. This hotel type is similar to luxury establishments in that they tend to focus on comfortable, but down-to-earth surroundings. Many studio hotels are located within resorts or other vacation destinations, and are staffed with full-time staff and several guest rooms. These hotel types often cater to individuals who do not wish to have to put up with extremely noisy people within their room, or who wish to have a place where they can relax without having to go anywhere else.
Family Hotels. Family hotels can be the perfect choice for families, or new vacation travelers, who are either traveling with children or are expecting a family arrival shortly. Many of the best family hotels are located near attractive attractions and convenient locales. These hotels typically provide more amenities for children, such as babysitting services, in-room play areas, and child care programs. Some family-friendly hotels also offer onsite baby sitters, making it even easier for families to enjoy each other’s company while on vacation.
