A long time ago, we were living in a really rough place. You can imagine what sort of problems a child can solve there. We also had horses and cows as our only source of food. People were still eating meat back then and the environment was pretty bad because of it. People are Eating meat today, so the environment is better, but it is not in the same league as it was then. What if we could help this situation? That is what eco LEGE is all about! We have programs like Composting toilets and Solar Power Lights that can change this. It is a no-brainer, really.
You get to wear cool clothes
Who doesn’t want to feel super fancy when they go to a Parisian event? Of course, you can’t just go to a restaurant and order a steak, but you can wear your finery to the next event -clothing optional! To the museum? Sure! You can go with the flow and just wear what you like. And if you are feeling adventurous, you can try your hand at basket weaving or make some clothes from secondhand clothes.
And you are considered a hero
You might have heard about The Great Resignation? Yeah, that was me! The girl who said no to clothes from the rich. I was wrong. I was a hero. A true hero. Because I led the fight for better clothes for the low and middle classes.
So, you will be staying for a while
As I said, I started working with locals in a poor neighborhood. I soon realized that the poor kids were having a lot of problems. So, I got involved. I helped some kids get access to a pool and a cricket field. I taught them how to play basketball, taught them how to use computers and how to cook with vegetables. One day, a man came to me and said: “Look, my daughter is not satisfied with a doll. She wants to be like the dolls, so I want to give her an ecoLEGE.” I had never heard such a thing before. And, to be honest, I didn’t expect such a thing. These were kids from a poor neighborhood! What if I said no?
