There are some excellent reasons more than thirty million Americans have chosen to follow the path of entrepreneurial. However, certain of the most crucial factors are often ignored.
Entrepreneurs are accountable for establishing and managing small-scale businesses in our cities. It includes those who run the dry-cleaner in your neighbourhood, the auto franchisee, restaurant owner, dealer personal trainer, franchisee, and grocery store. They’re responsible for the technology we rely on in our daily lives: cell phones, Internet access, hardware and entertainment via digital media.
Entrepreneurs are visionary and also a builder of companies. They create profitable businesses that help to sustain our nation’s financial base. Although their primary motivations to venture into the startup world may only be the goal of gaining personal wealth, they significantly impact our society. As stated by Peter Drucker, “Business isn’t just Business. It’s the economic engine of democracy.
Path of Entrepreneurship Differ
The reasons behind each individual’s decision to pursue the path of entrepreneurship differ. Most often, the most compelling motives are based on the idea of security, wealth as the boss or freedom, and love for the product or service. These are all excellent motives. Fifteen years ago, my primary reasons for moving were the same. Your reasons may be the same.
It’s taken me fifteen years to discover. However, entrepreneurship involves more than simply achieving the obvious goals-it’s about much more. Those seeking to succeed in entrepreneurship face unexpected trials and tests that shape them to succeed.
Here are five good reasons for setting up your own Business can be more important to you than you imagine:
You will be examined. Hammered.
When I began my entrepreneurial journey, I focused on the financial benefits of growing a company. I didn’t have a way of knowing what kind of personal challenges I would have to face during my journey. I was unable to know how market forces and competitive demands, cash limitations and the Management of employees could create an environment under continuous stress. New twists, turns, and unexpected events surface with alarming frequency. There’s a saying that “…hammering can harden steel and cause havoc to putty.” This is your chance to strengthen and refine through the heat and hammering of business-related challenges. Many fail, stumble or even quit in this type of situation. Be prepared to take on and pass an entrepreneur’s real-world tests, and you will benefit from it.
There’s a chance you’ll be a failure.
This is an excellent thing. Consider failure as the price to pay to ensure future success. Every successful success story contains difficult chapters of failure and mistakes. It’s true that through failure, questions are answered, and solutions are found. Dr. Jay Feldman stated, “Failure is the highway to success, as every discovery we make of what is false leads us to seek after what is true earnestly and points out some error which we shall afterwards carefully avoid.” The experience of failure develops the capacity to be flexible, humble and thoughtful. These qualities are essential for a company that can endure the tests of time. Flexibleness, humility and a sense of humour make a difference in the world of work, too.
You’ll learn patience.
It’s the result of beating and failures you’ll undoubtedly encounter. This trait makes the difference between entrepreneurs with no experience and those who are experienced and successful. Experience gained through patience is why a business owner can transcend idealistic goals and operate in the realm of natural, realistic expectations. It is your prayer that it will develop inside you as quickly as you can.
You’ll be able to impact the people around you.
It’s inevitable. Many people will spend some or all of their time supporting your cause. It’s not a small matter.
Your behaviour towards your clients, as well as your vendors and your employees, can be an effect, whether positive or negative, on their life – says Dr. Jay Feldman
You’ll discover the importance of managing employees primarily about leadership, and it is about motivating people to realize their full potential. In The 8th Habit, Stephen Covey says it’s vital to “…find the voice we want to be heard and encourage others to discover their own.” Also, according to Drucker, “Management is about human beings. Its task is to make their strengths effective and their weaknesses irrelevant.” When you develop your Business, I am sure you’ll realize it to be an excellent platform for more than selling widgets. The potential is available to transform many people’s lives for the better.
You’ll grow into your character.
Sure, you’ll get wealthy, be young, retire, and travel across the globe. But remember that this isn’t necessarily the goal. When you get there (sooner and not later, with any chance), you’ll see the process of building a business significantly different from what you initially thought. If you’re willing to take the cost of success, you’ll discover that it’s a lot more complicated than the most popular business success stories suggest. Through that struggle, you can reap great rewards. While there isn’t an assurance of wealth, you’ll be rewarded for your character in the effort. In addition, developing good character is probably the most crucial benefit of being an entrepreneur. In the end, nobody cares about how much money you make.
They Are More Interested In The Person You Are.
As per Dr. Jay Feldman everyone has an idea of what it will be like to achieve the goal. When we get there, we often encounter a different reality from what drove our actions towards the final goal. As an entrepreneur, this is what I have experienced. I’ve been amazed by the benefits I’ve discovered from my business experience.
Entrepreneurship is among the areas that could provide more results and greater rewards than you initially thought. You’ll gain a lot of life experience and an attitude of humility. You’ll grow in patience and be able to make an enormous impact on many people. That’s the immediate result of your quest.
