How to Perform Netgear Orbi Voice Setup in Orbi Mode?
In order to perform Orbi Voice setup in Orbi mode, you need to first download the Netgear Orbi app on your smartphone. The Netgear Orbi application operates both on Android and iOS devices. Walk through the instructions mentioned below to download the Orbi app:
Power on Your Netgear Orbi Router
Start by turning on your Netgear Orbi router. Next, connect the router to the power adapter. Proceed further by plugging into the power adapter into the wall socket. Now, wait for the power LED light to become a shade of green.
As soon as the power LED turns green, establish a strong connection between the Orbi router and modem. Rather than connecting your devices wirelessly, it is recommended that you connect them using an Ethernet cable.
Sync Your Orbi Devices
The next step in line is to sync your Netgear Orbi router and satellite. But, before you do that, make sure that the satellite is placed in close proximity to the router. To sync your Orbi devices, press the Sync button on the Orbi satellite. Do the same with the Orbi router. Now, give your devices some time to get synced.
Download the Orbi App
Once your WiFi devices have synced properly, unlock your phone. If you are using an Android, then go to the Google Play Store, and in the case of an iOS device, go to the App Store to search for the Orbi app. Once found, click on the Download button and wait for the application to get installed.
Note: Do not perform any background activities while the Orbi app is getting installed. Otherwise, you’ll get stuck with unwanted technical issues.
Log into Your Netgear Account
Once the Orbi app gets installed, log into your Netgear account by accessing orbilogin.com. Now, that you are done logging into your account, it is recommended that you place the Orbi Voice closer to your router.

Connect the Orbi Voice to a power source, but don’t turn it on yet. First, change the mode on your Orbi Voice to Orbi mode. Then, press and hold the Sync button on the Orbi Voice and press the Power button. Once the Power LED turns white, release the Sync button.
Now, go to the dashboard of the Orbi app that you accessed via orbilogin. Locate the Home icon and tap on the Add Satellite button. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish performing Netgear Orbi voice setup.
